Traffic police increased fine on traffic rules violations in Lahore

LAHORE – Traffic police in the country’s second-biggest city of Lahore have declared a critical expansion in punishments to control violations

City Traffic Police forewarned people in general by sharing a post on social media. The post expressed that traffic violators will be fined at least Rs. 2000 for defying the traffic rules.

According to the new declaration, motorcyclists will have to pay a fine of Rs. 2000 for inappropriate parking while for vehicles the penalty will be Rs. 5000.

A punishment of Rs. 2,000 will be slapped for driving a cruiser without a permit and Rs. 5,000 for four-wheelers.

Bicycle riders abusing one-way will be fined Rs. 2,000 while vehicle drivers will pay Rs. 5,000. Drivers with tinted vehicle windows will pay Rs. 5,000 while bicycles without number plates or unlawful number plates will be charged Rs. 2,000.
